Hammond PJU14126LF 14x12x6 Solid Cover Type 4X Box, Flange Mount

The PJU14126LF is a 14.05 x 12.27 x 6.13 in (357 x 312 x 156 mm) Type 4X fiberglass polyester junction box with a solid cover and two glued polycarbonate mounting flanges. The flanges carry (8) R0.162 in (4.10 mm) slots, with slot spacing of 14.62 to 14.75 in and 15.37 in (390.40 mm) overall height on the drawing.

Designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, the PJU Series protects equipment that may be hosed down, very wet, hot or exposed to highly corrosive conditions. Ratings are UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP66.

Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors and a 0.13 in (3.30 mm) wall that is easily punched, cut or drilled. Two lockable stainless steel snap latches with a padlocking provision close the cover on a closed cell neoprene gasket, and the door hinges on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin. The flanges are fastened with #10-32 brass inserts and stainless steel screws.

Four #10-32 brass inserts and plated carbon steel screws are provided for the optional 14R1311 inner panel, 12.75 x 10.88 in (324 x 276 mm), listed in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. The enclosure is rated for 130°C to -40°C, has an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), ships at 9 lbs (4.08 kg), and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
