The PJHMI88CCHTP puts a clear polycarbonate cover over an 8x8 frame and closes it with 316 stainless steel captive cover screws, in the tamperproof screw cover closure style. It gives operators a view of a display or instrument while limiting who can open the cover.
The box and cover are injected polycarbonate, with an FIP (formed-in-place) polyurethane gasket and a 316 stainless steel hinge pin. The drawing shows (2) #10-32 brass inserts with 316 stainless steel captive cover screws with O-rings; the closure style is listed as tamperproof screw cover. The series offers the clear polycarbonate thermoplastic cover version as PJHMI88CCHTP; the matching opaque cover version is PJHMI88HTP. It is UV stabilized for outdoor use and rated for a service temperature of -31°F (-35°C) to 266°F (130°C).

The supplied hardware suits mounting surfaces from .059 in to .250 in thick (the series is designed for wall thicknesses from 16 gauge through 1/4 in), torqued to 15-20 in-lbs. An optional prop arm, PJHMIPROP88, is available separately.
