Hammond PJ864P6 6-Hole 30.5mm Lift Off Cover Pushbutton Enclosure

The PJ864P6 is a six-hole pushbutton enclosure for 30.5mm devices with a lift off screw cover. As part of the PJPBLC Series of fiberglass polyester enclosures, it gives integrators a compact six-operator station with outstanding insulation and protection where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet.

It is compression molded from fiberglass reinforced polyester in a gray finish, with a 0.14 in (3.56 mm) wall shown on the drawing, and is easily punched, cut, or drilled. Four 316 stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings thread into #10-32 brass inserts, sealing against a captive oil resistant gasket (FIP polyurethane on the drawing). Four 316 stainless steel mounting feet fasten to rear brass inserts, and enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering.

The PJ864P6 measures 8.00 in H x 6.12 in W x 4.13 in D (203 mm x 155 mm x 105 mm), nominally 8 x 6 x 4 in, and ships at 4 lbs (1.81 kg). The optional 14R0705 inner panel (6.75 in x 4.88 in) mounts on internal threaded brass inserts, which also take a terminal kit. The hinged cover version is PJ864HP6.

Series ratings: UL 508A and CSA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13; complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. Operating temperatures are 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F), impact index 6.78J (5 ft/lb), and it is RoHS and REACH compliant.
