The PJ664HP4 is a square, four-hole pushbutton enclosure for 30.5mm devices with a hinged screw cover. Part of the PJPBLC Series, it is aimed at control panel builders and plant electricians who need a small non-metallic operator station that provides outstanding insulation and protection where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet.
Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in a gray finish, easily punched, cut, or drilled. The cover swings on a stainless steel hinge and closes with two captive stainless steel screws with retaining O-rings, threaded into #10-32 brass inserts; a captive oil resistant gasket (closed cell neoprene on the drawing) provides a positive seal. Enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering.
The enclosure measures 6.10 in H x 6.10 in W x 4.18 in D (155 mm x 155 mm x 106 mm) and ships at 3 lbs (1.36 kg). Four stainless steel mounting feet attach to brass inserts at the rear, and threaded brass inserts inside accept the optional 14R0505 inner panel (4.88 in x 4.88 in) or a terminal kit. The same body with a lift off cover is PJ664P4.
The series is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. It operates between 130°C and -40°C (266°F to -40°F) with an impact index of 6.78J (5 ft/lb), and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
