PJ864LW is an 8.00 x 6.12 x 4.13 in Type 4X fiberglass polyester wallmount enclosure with a hinged window cover that closes on a 316 stainless steel lockable snap latch located on center. It is meant for small instrument, junction and control housings that get opened regularly and need their contents visible through the polycarbonate window.
The gray, compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester box and cover have a 0.14 in (3.55 mm) wall and enhanced UV inhibitors. The cover swings on a 316 stainless steel hinge and seals on a FIP polyurethane gasket. The series describes the latch as a stainless steel draw type snap latch with a provision for padlocking.
Mounting is via four 316 stainless steel feet secured to rear #10-32 brass inserts with 316 stainless steel screws. The drawing shows 9.82 in overall height with feet, 9.19 in vertical hole spacing and 0.34 in holes. An optional 14R0705 inner panel, 6.75 x 4.88 in, fastens to brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws; aluminum, white steel and galvannealed, and fiberglass back panels are shown.
The PJ864LW is rated UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, operates between -40°C and 130°C, and ships at 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
