The PJ864TW is an 8.00 x 6.12 x 4.13 in Type 4X fiberglass polyester wallmount enclosure with a hinged polycarbonate window cover secured by a 316 stainless steel lockable twist latch located on center. It works as a small instrument enclosure, junction box or control housing where a single-point latch and a clear view of the contents are wanted.
Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray with enhanced UV inhibitors; the drawing shows a 0.14 in (3.55 mm) wall. The cover rides on a 316 stainless steel hinge and seals on a FIP polyurethane gasket, supporting use where equipment is hosed down or very wet. Entries can be punched, cut or drilled.
Four 316 stainless steel feet attach to rear #10-32 brass inserts with 316 stainless steel screws. The drawing gives 9.82 in overall height with feet, 9.19 in vertical hole spacing and 0.34 in holes. Four more brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R0705 inner panel, 6.75 x 4.88 in.
The PJ864TW carries UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 ratings, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, is REACH and RoHS compliant, and operates from -40°C to 130°C with an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb).
