PJ664LW is a compact 6.10 x 6.10 x 4.18 in Type 4X fiberglass polyester wallmount enclosure with a hinged window cover closed by a stainless steel lockable snap latch located on center. It is intended for small instrument, junction or control duties where quick, screwless access is useful and the contents should stay visible through the polycarbonate window.
The compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester box and cover are gray and include enhanced UV inhibitors. The series describes the latch as a stainless steel draw type snap latch with a provision for padlocking. A stainless steel hinge carries the cover, which seals on a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket. The polyester can be punched, cut or drilled for entries.
Four stainless steel mounting feet fasten to rear #10-32 brass inserts with stainless steel screws, giving 7.95 in overall height, 7.32 in vertical hole spacing and 0.34 in holes per the drawing. An optional 14R0505 inner panel (4.88 x 4.88 in) mounts on brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws, in white powder coated steel, unfinished aluminum or fiberglass.
The PJ664LW is rated UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, operates from -40°C to 130°C, and has an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb).
