Hammond PJ242410RL 24x24x10 In Deep Type 4X Solid Lid Fiberglass Box

The PJ242410RL is a square, 10 in deep PJ series enclosure with a solid raised lid, measuring 24.00 x 24.00 x 10.13 in (610 x 610 x 257 mm). It offers the most internal volume of the 24 x 24 sizes, for large control, instrument and terminal assemblies installed where equipment is hosed down, very wet, hot or subject to corrosive chemicals.

The box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors, and can be punched, cut or drilled. The drawing specifies (2X) 316 stainless steel hinges, (4X) 316 stainless steel lockable snap latches with padlock provision, and an FIP polyurethane gasket, with a .14 in (3.56 mm) wall thickness.

This size uses the larger mounting foot, per the ordering table. Drawing details:

The PJ242410RL is covered by UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 per CSA 22.2 No. 94, and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It operates from 130°C to -40°C with a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, shipping weight 28 lbs (12.70 kg).
