Hammond PJ242010RLW 24x20x10 In Type 4X Window Cover Fiberglass Enclosure

The PJ242010RLW is a 24 x 20 x 10 PJ series enclosure with a raised cover incorporating a bonded polycarbonate viewing window. At 24.00 x 20.00 x 10.13 in (610 x 508 x 257 mm) it is the deeper window-cover option in the 24 x 20 footprint, giving room for taller equipment while keeping instruments visible.

The series is designed for instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring enclosures and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings where equipment is hosed down or very wet, and in high-temperature or highly corrosive environments. Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors, and can be punched, cut or drilled.

Optional back panels are shown in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.105 in white steel and 0.250 in fiberglass. The enclosure operates between 130°C and -40°C (266°F to -40°F) and has a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index.

The PJ242010RLW is listed to UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94, and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships at 25 lbs (11.34 kg).
