The PJ20168TW is a 20 x 16 x 8 PJ Series window enclosure fitted with twist latches. This Type 4X fiberglass polyester housing is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring in locations that may be hosed down, very wet, hot or corrosive.
Two 316 stainless steel lockable twist latches close the cover, which is carried on a 316 stainless steel hinge and sealed by a FIP polyurethane gasket. Compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester forms the box and cover, finished in gray with enhanced UV inhibitors. The drawing shows a 0.14 in (3.56 mm) wall.
Size is 20.00 in H x 16.00 in W x 8.13 in D (508 x 406 x 207 mm), and the enclosure ships at 17 lbs (7.71 kg). Its optional P2068 inner panel is 18.44 x 14.44 in; the drawing lists back panels in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, and 0.250 in fiberglass.
Four 316 stainless steel feet with 316 stainless steel screws mount to rear brass inserts. Series ratings are UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94 and IEC 60529 IP66, with a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index. PJ20168TW is RoHS and REACH compliant.
