Hammond PJ20168RLW 20x16x8 In Type 4X Window Cover Fiberglass Enclosure

The PJ20168RLW is the window-cover version of the 20 x 16 x 8 PJ enclosure. Its 20.00 x 16.00 x 8.13 in (508 x 406 x 207 mm) body carries a raised cover with a bonded polycarbonate viewing window, giving a clear line of sight to instruments and indicators inside a sealed fiberglass housing.

It is intended for instrument enclosures, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring enclosures and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, especially where equipment is hosed down, very wet, hot or exposed to highly corrosive conditions. The compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester box and cover are gray, UV inhibited and easily punched, cut or drilled.

• Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws for the optional P2068 inner panel (18.44 x 14.44 in)
• Four 316 stainless steel feet on #10-32 brass inserts; .34 in (8.74 mm) foot holes

Optional back panels are shown in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, and 0.250 in fiberglass. The enclosure is rated 130°C to -40°C with a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index.

The PJ20168RLW is listed to UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94, and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships at 17 lbs (7.71 kg).
