PJ20168LW is the snap latch model of the 20 x 16 x 8 PJ Series window enclosure, listed in the Snap Latch column of the series ordering table. The Type 4X fiberglass polyester box has a hinged cover with a polycarbonate window, suited to instrument enclosures, control housings and terminal wiring that should stay visible.
The drawing shows two 316 stainless steel lockable snap latches, a 316 stainless steel hinge and a FIP polyurethane gasket, with a 0.14 in (3.56 mm) wall. The series adds that the draw-type snap latch fasteners include a padlocking provision. Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors.
The enclosure measures 20.00 in H x 16.00 in W x 8.13 in D (508 x 406 x 207 mm) and ships at 17 lbs (7.71 kg). The optional P2068 inner panel, 18.44 x 14.44 in, mounts on #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws. Four 316 stainless steel feet attach on rear brass inserts. The series is rated UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94 and IEC 60529 IP66, for use from 130°C to -40°C. PJ20168LW is RoHS and REACH compliant.
