The PJ14126HW is a 14 x 12 x 6 PJ Series junction box with a hinged screw cover and polycarbonate viewing window. It gives integrators a larger Type 4X fiberglass housing for instruments, terminal wiring and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic controls that must be sealed yet visible.
This size uses a closed cell neoprene gasket, a stainless steel hinge and two stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-ring in #10-32 brass inserts, as shown on the drawing. Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors against outdoor weathering.
Enclosure dimensions are 14.13 in H x 12.26 in W x 6.13 in D (359 x 311 x 156 mm), and the unit ships at 9 lbs (4.08 kg). Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R1311 inner panel, which is 12.75 x 10.88 in; the drawing lists back panels in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, and 0.125 in fiberglass.
Four stainless steel mounting feet attach to rear brass inserts with stainless steel screws. Series ratings include UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, cUL per CSA 22.2 No. 94 and IEC 60529 IP66, with -40°C to 130°C operation and a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index. PJ14126HW is RoHS and REACH compliant.
