Hammond PJ1086P9 9-Hole 30.5mm Lift Off Pushbutton Box, 6 in Deep

The PJ1086P9 is a nine-hole, 30.5mm pushbutton enclosure with a lift off screw cover and a 6.13 in depth. Within the PJPBLC Series it is the deeper counterpart of the PJ1084P9, suiting installers who want more wiring space behind nine operators in a non-metallic enclosure that provides protection where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet.

The enclosure and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray and can be easily punched, cut, or drilled. Four captive stainless steel screws with retaining O-rings hold the lift off cover in #10-32 brass inserts, and a captive oil resistant gasket (closed cell neoprene per the drawing) provides a positive seal. Enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering.

Size is 10.13 in H x 8.26 in W x 6.13 in D (257 mm x 210 mm x 156 mm), shown in the long description as 11.076 x 9.201 x 6.125. Shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg). Stainless steel mounting feet and hardware are provided for rear mounting, and internal threaded brass inserts accept the optional 14R0907 inner panel (8.75 in x 6.88 in) or a terminal kit. The series is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. It is intended for applications with high temperatures or highly corrosive environments, with an operating range of 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F) and an impact index of 6.78J (5 ft/lb).
