The PJ1086HP12 packs twelve 30.5mm pushbutton holes into a 10.13 x 8.26 x 6.13 in fiberglass polyester enclosure with a hinged cover. It is the higher-density option of this body size in the PJPBLC Series, for control engineers who need many operators at one station in places where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet.
Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish; the material is easily punched, cut, or drilled. The cover hangs on a stainless steel hinge and fastens with two captive stainless steel screws, each with a retaining O-ring, into #10-32 brass inserts. A captive oil resistant gasket (closed cell neoprene on the drawing) seals it, and enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering.

Four stainless steel mounting feet on rear brass inserts handle wall mounting, and internal brass inserts take the optional inner panel or a terminal kit. The lift off cover version is PJ1086P12; the nine-hole hinged version of this size is PJ1086HP9.
The series is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. The PJ1086HP12 operates from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F), has an impact index of 6.78J (5 ft/lb), and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
