Hammond PJ1084HP9 9-Hole 30.5mm Hinged Pushbutton Enclosure, 4 in Deep

The PJ1084HP9 is a nine-hole fiberglass polyester pushbutton enclosure for 30.5mm devices, with a hinged cover and a shallow 4.13 in depth. In the PJPBLC Series, it suits builders of larger operator stations for machinery that may be hosed down or be very wet, or that operates in high-temperature or highly corrosive environments.

Construction is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester for box and cover, gray in colour and easily punched, cut, or drilled. The cover pivots on a stainless steel hinge and is secured by two captive stainless steel screws with retaining O-rings in #10-32 brass inserts. A captive oil resistant gasket, closed cell neoprene per the drawing, gives a positive seal, and enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering.

The enclosure is 10.13 in H x 8.26 in W x 4.13 in D (257 mm x 210 mm x 105 mm) and ships at 5 lbs (2.27 kg). Four stainless steel mounting feet fasten to brass inserts at the rear. Internal threaded brass inserts accept the optional 14R0907 inner panel (8.75 in x 6.88 in) or a terminal kit. The lift off cover equivalent is PJ1084P9, and a 6.13 in deep nine-hole version is PJ1086HP9.

The series is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. Operating range is 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F), impact index 6.78J (5 ft/lb). RoHS and REACH compliant.
