The PJ1084RT is a 10.13 x 8.26 x 4.13 in (257 x 210 x 105 mm) Type 4X wallmount enclosure with a solid raised lid and twist-latch closure. Its shallow 4.13 in depth suits terminal wiring enclosures, electrical junction boxes and instrument housings where space is tight but the location is hosed down, very wet, hot or highly corrosive.
The enclosure body and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors, and can be easily punched, cut or drilled. According to the drawing, one stainless steel lockable twist latch located on center secures the cover, the door swings on a stainless steel hinge, and a closed cell neoprene gasket provides the seal. The latch includes a provision for padlocking.
The matching optional inner panel is 14R0907 at 8.75 x 6.88 in (222 x 175 mm), mounted on threaded brass inserts; back panels are drawn in 0.100 in aluminum, 0.075 in white steel and galvannealed, or 0.125 in fiberglass. Four stainless steel mounting feet attach to #10-32 brass inserts on the rear with stainless screws, and mounting hardware is included. The long description lists the size as 10.14 x 8.26 x 4.13.
The PJ1084RT carries UL 508A and cUL (per CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 listings, complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
