Hammond PJ1084P9 9-Hole 30.5mm Lift Off Pushbutton Box, 4 in Deep

The PJ1084P9 is a nine-hole pushbutton enclosure for 30.5mm operators with a lift off screw cover and a 4.13 in depth. From the PJPBLC Series, it is a fit for panel shops and OEM engineers who want a shallow multi-button station in non-metallic material that provides outstanding insulation and protection where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet.

The box and matching cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish that is easily punched, cut, or drilled. The cover lifts off after releasing four captive stainless steel screws, each with a retaining O-ring, that thread into #10-32 brass inserts. A captive oil resistant gasket (closed cell neoprene per the drawing) provides a positive seal, and enhanced UV inhibitors protect against outdoor weathering.

Dimensions are 10.13 in H x 8.26 in W x 4.13 in D (257 mm x 210 mm x 105 mm), and the shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg). Stainless steel mounting feet and hardware are provided for rear mounting. The optional 14R0907 inner panel measures 8.75 in x 6.88 in and mounts on internal threaded brass inserts, which can also take a terminal kit. The hinged version is PJ1084HP9; a deeper 6.13 in nine-hole model is PJ1086P9.

The series is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. It is suited to applications with high temperatures or highly corrosive environments, operating from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F) with an impact index of 6.78J (5 ft/lb). RoHS and REACH compliant.
