Hammond PHW603616 60x36x16 Tall Fiberglass Type 4X Wall Enclosure

The PHW603616 is the tallest enclosure in the PHW Series of Type 4X polyester wallmounts, with a 60 x 36 x 16 in nominal size. It is built to house electrical, electronic, instrumentation and mechanical controls indoors and outdoors, where a corrosion resistant, watertight enclosure is needed to protect against windblown dust and rain, splashing and hose directed water.

Construction is compression molded, fiberglass reinforced polyester finished in light gray. The door hangs on a continuous hinge and closes with stainless steel butterfly type twist latches, sealing on a memory retaining continuous door gasket. All hardware is stainless steel and a padlocking provision is standard.

The PHW603616 measures 63.5 in H x 36.5 in W x 18.12 in D (1,613 x 927 x 460 mm) overall and has a shipping weight of 155 lbs (70.31 kg). The optional 18P5733 inner panel measures 57.00 x 33.00 in (1448 x 838 mm) and mounts to molded in panel mounting inserts.

Integral mounting feet are provided for wall mounting. The PHW Series is listed UL 508A 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and CSA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, and complies with NEMA 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and IEC 60529 IP 66. This part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
