The PFA30000BK is an 8" Type 12 exhaust filter in RAL 9011 black, the outlet partner for the 65 CFM PF 32000 filter fans in the PF GEN4 Series. Installed on the opposite side of the enclosure from the fan, it lets heated air escape through a Type 12 filter mat while keeping the enclosure sealed. It is listed as the black exhaust filter for the PF32000T12BK (115V AC), PF32000T12BK230 (230V AC) and PF32000T12BK24 (24V DC) fans.
With a PF 32000 filter fan, the fan-plus-exhaust-filter combination is rated at 38 CFM and 21 W/K. The filter material is a Type 12 filter mat of grade G 4 (DIN EN 779).
The exhaust filter measures 202 x 202 x 34 mm (height x width x installation depth) and weighs 0.26 kg. Its housing and guard are sprayed thermoplastic, self-extinguishing to UL 94 V0, and it may be fitted in any position. It uses the same 177 mm +1/-0 installation cutout as the PF 32000 fans in material up to 2 mm, or 178 mm +1/-0 for material over 2 mm and under 3 mm.
The series is rated NEMA Type 12, IP 55 (EN 60 529) when installed as specified, with an operating range of -15 °C (-5 °F) to +55 °C (+131 °F). The PFA30000BK is REACH and RoHS compliant. A light gray version is available as PFA30000LG.
