Hammond PF43000T12BK 169 CFM 115V AC Type 12 Filter Fan, Black

The PF43000T12BK is a 169 CFM Type 12 filter fan (Filterfan) from the PF GEN4 Series (94-169 CFM Filterfans), in RAL 9011 Black for 115V AC supplies. It is designed to draw filtered air into electrical and electronic enclosures to remove heat, while maintaining a UL-tested NEMA Type 12 seal against the enclosure.

It runs on 115V AC and is listed at 40W in the ordering table; the installation manual gives 41/38 W and 0.56/0.47 A at 50/60 Hz. At 169 CFM it is the higher-airflow model in this 252 mm frame size, and it connects on a cage clamp.

Unimpeded airflow is 169 CFM, with a free-flow capacity of 188 W/K (printed as I88 W/K on the spec sheet) and a maximum static pressure of 112 Pa. Fitted with the PFA40000BK exhaust filter (PF 43000 + PFA 40000), airflow in combination is 142 CFM. Noise level is 46 dB (A) (EN ISO 3741), and the NEMA Type 12 filtermat is grade G 4 (DIN EN 779) with 0.91 filtration efficiency.

The fan measures 252 x 252 x 113 mm (height x width x installation depth) and weighs 1.67 kg. Its sprayed thermoplastic housing and guard are self-extinguishing to UL 94 V0, made from heat-resistant ABS-FR. The patented Click & Fit design installs without hardware in a 223 mm +1/-0 cutout for material up to 2 mm, or 224 mm +1/-0 for material over 2 mm and under 3 mm; any fitting position is allowed, horizontal airflow preferred.

The fan is UL Recognized to UL 508 (category NITW2/8, UL File #E175229) with a CSA approved motor, is rated NEMA Type 12, IP 55 (EN 60 529) when installed as specified, and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
