Hammond PF42500T12LG230 94 CFM 230V AC Type 12 Filter Fan, Light Gray

The PF42500T12LG230 is a 94 CFM Type 12 filter fan (Filterfan) from the PF GEN4 Series (94-169 CFM Filterfans), in RAL 7035 Light Grey for 230V AC supplies. It is designed to draw filtered air into electrical and electronic enclosures to remove heat, while maintaining a UL-tested NEMA Type 12 seal against the enclosure.

It runs on 230V AC and is listed at 18W in the series ordering table, while the installation manual's technical data gives 28/29 W and 0.12/0.13 A at 50/60 Hz for the PF 42500 on 230 V. It connects on a cage clamp.

Unimpeded airflow is 94 CFM, with a free-flow capacity of 53 W/K and a maximum static pressure of 49 Pa. Fitted with the PFA40000LG exhaust filter (PF 42500 + PFA 40000), airflow in combination is 67 CFM. Noise level is 43 dB (A) (EN ISO 3741), and the NEMA Type 12 filtermat is grade G 4 (DIN EN 779) with 0.91 filtration efficiency.

The fan measures 252 x 252 x 97 mm (height x width x installation depth) and weighs 1.18 kg. Its sprayed thermoplastic housing and guard are self-extinguishing to UL 94 V0, made from heat-resistant ABS-FR. The patented Click & Fit design installs without hardware in a 223 mm +1/-0 cutout for material up to 2 mm, or 224 mm +1/-0 for material over 2 mm and under 3 mm; any fitting position is allowed, horizontal airflow preferred.

The fan is UL Recognized to UL 508 (category NITW2/8, UL File #E175229) with a CSA approved motor, is rated NEMA Type 12, IP 55 (EN 60 529) when installed as specified, and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
