Hammond PF22000T12LG230 38 CFM Type 12 Filter Fan, 230V AC, Light Gray

The PF22000T12LG230 is a 38 CFM Type 12 filterfan for 230V AC supply, rated 18W, in light gray, RAL 7035. It is the PF 22000 size, the larger of the two frame sizes in this series, and ventilates electrical enclosures and control panels while maintaining a UL tested NEMA Type 12 seal against the enclosure. The same fan in the other colour is the PF22000T12BK230.

Series technical data gives an unimpeded airflow of 38 CFM and a free-flow capacity of 21 W/K. Paired with the matching PFA20000LG exhaust filter (PF 22000 + PFA 20000), airflow is 28 CFM and capacity 15 W/K. Maximum static pressure is 57 Pa, the Type 12 filter mat is grade G 4 (DIN EN 779) with 0.91 filtration efficiency, and the noise level is 44 dB (A) (EN ISO 3741).

The housing and guard are sprayed thermoplastic, self-extinguishing to UL 94 V0, made from heat resistant ABS-FR. As an AC model it uses sleeve bearings and is fitted in the vertical position; the technical data gives 145 x 145 x 70 mm outside dimensions (height x width x installation depth), a weight of 0.7 kg and a terminal strip connection. The fan motor is CSA approved, and the fan is UL Recognized to UL 508, category NITW2/8, UL File #E175229.

The patented Click & Fit design gives a hardware free installation into a 125 mm (4.92 in) cutout (126.5 mm (4.98 in) for EMC versions). Protection is NEMA Type 12, IP 55 (EN 60 529) when installed as specified: vertical mounting with an intact foam gasket. Keep arcing parts at least 30.5 cm (12") from the filters (UL508A sec. 22); airflow is reversed by removing four screws and flipping the fan.
