Hammond PFA10000BK 4" Type 12 Exhaust Filter, Black

The PFA10000BK is a 4" Type 12 exhaust filter in black (RAL 9011) from the PF GEN4 Series. It is the matching exhaust filter for the PF 11000 filterfans: the ordering table pairs it with the black PF11000T12BK, PF11000T12BK230, PF11000T12BK24 fans (115V AC, 230V AC and 24V DC, rated 11W at 115V AC, 11W at 230V AC and 2W at 24V DC), with the PFA11000LG as the light gray equivalent.

It is for panel builders and maintenance teams completing a filtered airflow path, with the filterfan pushing air in and the PFA10000BK letting it out while keeping the enclosure seal. Series data for the PF 11000 + PFA 10000 combination gives 11 CFM airflow and 6 W/K capacity.

The filter uses a Type 12 filter mat of grade G 3 (DIN EN 779), with a filtration efficiency of 0.88. Outside dimensions are 109 x 109 x 26 mm (height x width x installation depth), and the technical-data weight is 0.06 kg; shipping weight is listed as 1 lbs (0.45 kg). The housing and guard are sprayed thermoplastic, self-extinguishing to UL 94 V0, from heat resistant ABS-FR.

The patented Click & Fit design allows hardware free installation into the same 92 mm (3.62 in) cutout as the fan (93 mm (3.66 in) for EMC versions). Protection is NEMA Type 12, IP 55 (EN 60 529) when installed vertically with an undamaged foam gasket. Keep arcing parts at least 30.5 cm (12") from filters (UL508A sec. 22). The part is declared RoHS and REACH compliant.
