Hammond PCJHFPP88 8x8 PCJ Enclosure Hinged Aluminum Swing Panel

The PCJHFPP88 is a hinged front swing panel kit built for the PCJ884 base in the PCJ enclosure series. Its manufacturer page lists a nominal size of 8 in x 8 in x 1 in (203 mm x 203 mm x 25 mm), intended for panel builders and OEM engineers who need a hinged mounting surface inside a compact 8x8 box.

The panel is aluminum with a material thickness of 0.09 in (2.29 mm). It hinges on two front panel hinges and rides on four WIP corner sliders with inserts, so the mounting depth can be set to suit the equipment; the drawing notes the front panel can be lowered 1.5 in maximum. It can be installed to swing either right or left.

Installation is done in the field with no drilling required, and the mounting hardware is included: combo pan head machine screws, #6 flat washers, #6-32 hex nuts and #4-40 self tap screws. The enclosure and the aluminum back panel are sold separately.

Series dimensions for this kit are A 7.44 in (189 mm), B 7.63 in (194 mm), C 4.64 in (118 mm), D 5.38 in (137 mm) and E 6.19 in (157 mm). The PCJHFPP88 ships at 3 lbs (1.36 kg) and is listed as REACH and RoHS compliant. Replacement corner blocks (PCJCB4) and hinges (PCJHFH) are offered separately.
