Hammond PCJHFPP1816 18x16 PCJ Enclosure Hinged Aluminum Swing Panel

The PCJHFPP1816 is the largest swing panel kit in the PCJSP series, made for the 18x16 PCJ181610 enclosure base. Its nominal size is 18 in x 16 in x 1 in (457 mm x 406 mm x 25 mm). It gives OEM and control-panel builders a hinged aluminum front mounting surface that swings open for service.

The hinged front panel (Polyline 18x16, aluminum) is 0.10 in (2.5 mm) thick per the drawing. Four Slider2 sliders for Polyline P16/P18 with inserts hold it and provide up to 7.7 in (196 mm) of panel adjustment, so the mounting depth can be matched to the equipment. Two front panel hinges carry the panel, which can be installed for right or left swing.

Dimensions from the series table are A 16.88 in (429 mm), B 14.88 in (378 mm), C 14.19 in (360 mm), D 14.88 in (378 mm) and E 15.44 in (392 mm).

Installation is done in the field with no drilling required, and the mounting hardware is included (#10-32 and #6-32 combo pan head machine screws, #6 flat washers and #6-32 hex nuts). The enclosure is sold separately; an optional back panel in aluminum or painted steel is also available separately. The PCJHFPP1816 ships at 4 lbs (1.81 kg) and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
