Hammond PCJA0505 4.81 in Square Aluminum Inner Panel for 6x6 Enclosure

The PCJA0505 is a unpainted aluminum inner (back) panel for PCJ series enclosures, described by the manufacturer as "Panel 4.9X4.9 Fits6X6 Alum". It gives panel builders, OEM engineers and electricians a flat metal sub-panel for mounting components inside a 6x6 PCJ enclosure.

Per the PCJP series specification, aluminum panels are 0.080 in thick type 5052 H-32 aluminum and are left unpainted. The part drawing shows the 0.08 in thickness.

The ordering table lists the panel at 4.81 in (122 mm) long by 4.81 in (122 mm) wide, matched to a PCJ enclosure with an A dimension of 5.93 in (151 mm) and a B dimension of 6.16 in (156 mm). The drawing (dated Feb 12, 2020) shows four 0.25 in diameter holes on 4.25 x 4.25 in centres. This is the smallest aluminum size in the PCJP table: a square 4.81 x 4.81 in panel for the 6x6 enclosure, enough for a terminal block or a single small device.

Panel mounting hardware is included with PCJ series enclosures rather than with the panel. For the same enclosure the PCJP table also lists PCJR0505 in 14 gauge white steel and 14PVC0505 in 0.188 in dark gray PVC. The PCJA0505 is RoHS and REACH compliant, ships at 0.5 lbs (0.23 kg), packed in a bag.
