Hammond PCJA0705 6.75 x 4.88 in Aluminum Inner Panel for 8x6 Enclosure

The PCJA0705 is a unpainted aluminum inner (back) panel for PCJ series enclosures, described by the manufacturer as "Panel 6.9X4.9 Fits 8X6 Alum". It gives panel builders, OEM engineers and electricians a flat metal sub-panel for mounting components inside a 8x6 PCJ enclosure.

Per the PCJP series specification, aluminum panels are 0.080 in thick type 5052 H-32 aluminum and are left unpainted. The part drawing shows the 0.08 in thickness.

The ordering table lists the panel at 6.75 in (171 mm) long by 4.88 in (124 mm) wide, matched to a PCJ enclosure with an A dimension of 7.94 in (202 mm) and a B dimension of 6.16 in (156 mm). The drawing (dated Feb 12, 2020) shows four 0.25 in diameter holes on 6.25 x 4.25 in centres. The 6.75 x 4.88 in panel suits the 8x6 enclosure; the part page rounds it to 6.9 x 4.9 in.

Panel mounting hardware is included with PCJ series enclosures rather than with the panel. For the same enclosure the PCJP table also lists PCJR0705 in 14 gauge white steel and 14PVC0705 in 0.188 in dark gray PVC. The PCJA0705 is RoHS and REACH compliant, ships at 0.5 lbs (0.23 kg), packed in a bag.
