Hammond PCJ14126CCL 14x12x6 Clear Cover Polycarbonate Box, Mounting Feet

The PCJ14126CCL is a Type 4X polycarbonate junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover, sized at a 14 x 12 in face and 6 in nominal depth. It is built to insulate and protect controls and components indoors or outdoors, for pump controls, waste water, irrigation, solar/wind and chemical plants.

The box and cover are injection moulded polycarbonate thermoplastic that is easily punched, cut or drilled, with enhanced UV inhibitors against outdoor weathering (UV rating f1 per UL746C). The cover closes with two stainless steel lockable snap latches, and the snap latches include a provision for padlocking. The cover itself is clear injected polycarbonate, so the interior stays visible with the cover closed. A captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket provides a positive seal. The molded hinge uses a stainless steel hinge pin.

Nominal size is 14 in x 12 in x 6 in (356 mm x 305 mm x 152 mm); the enclosure measures 13.94 in (354 mm) high, 12.16 in (309 mm) wide and 5.98 in (152 mm) deep, with a shipping weight of 8 lbs (3.63 kg). Threaded #10-32 brass inserts are provided for mounting the optional PCJR1311 inner panel, which measures 12.75 in (324 mm) by 10.88 in (276 mm). The drawing lists optional back panel thicknesses of 0.100 in (2.54 mm) aluminum or 0.075 in (1.91 mm) white steel.

It ships with four polycarbonate feet for surface mounting; the drawing calls out 4X .32 in (8.17 mm) mounting holes. Stainless steel 316 screw fasteners are used and mounting hardware is included. The clear-cover PCJ14126CCL is UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, meets the same NEMA types and IP66, is V-0 per UL 94, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Operating temperatures run from -35 °C to 130 °C (-31 °F to 266 °F), with an impact index of 16 J (12 ft/lb).
