Hammond PCJ12106CCH 12x10x6 in Type 4X Polycarbonate Box, Clear Cover, Feet

The PCJ12106CCH is a Type 4X polycarbonate junction box in the 12 x 10 x 6 in nominal size, fitted with a hinged, screw-fastened clear cover and polycarbonate mounting feet. The clear lid leaves the contents visible with the cover closed; the light gray body and the cover are both injected polycarbonate. It is designed to insulate and protect controls and components in indoor and outdoor conditions, with applications that include industrial pump controls, waste water, irrigation control, solar/wind and chemical plants.

The 12 x 10 x 6 in body measures 11.92 in (303 mm) high, 10.15 in (258 mm) wide and 5.98 in (152 mm) deep, sharing the 5.98 in depth of the 10 x 8 x 6 in size on a larger footprint. The optional PCJR1109 inner panel, 10.75 in x 8.88 in (273 mm x 226 mm), fixes to four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel truss screws and is drawn in 0.100 in (2.54 mm) aluminum or 0.075 in (1.91 mm) white steel. The cover seals on a closed cell neoprene gasket, swings on a stainless steel hinge pin and closes with two stainless steel captive cover screws.

Mounting is by four polycarbonate feet fixed with stainless steel flange and feet screws into #10-32 brass inserts. The drawing shows four .32 in (8.17 mm) mounting holes at 12.70 in (322.64 mm) by 8.82 in (224.03 mm) centers, and mounting hardware is included.

Across the PCJ series the enclosure is UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) listed as Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with the same NEMA Types, and is rated IP66 per IEC 60529, V-0 per UL 94 and UV (f1) per UL746C. It operates from -35°C to 130°C (-31°F to 266°F), has a 16 J (12 ft/lb) impact index, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg).
