Hammond PBPS19012LG2 7U Light Gray Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel

The PBPS19012LG2 is a 7U flat steel rack panel used to close off unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant racks and cabinets. It is intended for data center, telecom and network installers, AV integrators and facilities teams who need to block open rack units so conditioned air is forced through equipment rather than recirculating around it.

The panel is formed from 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) and finished in a smooth RAL7035 light gray powder coat, giving a clean, uniform face across a rack line-up. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA compliant and manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.

Overall width is 19.00 in (483 mm) to suit standard 19 in rack rails, with a panel height of 12.25 in (311 mm) covering 7 rack units. There are 8 mounting points using 0.250 x 0.375 in slots, so the panel can be secured at both the top and bottom of the opening. Mounting hardware is not included. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg).

As a solid blanking panel, PBPS19012LG2 supports front-to-rear cooling schemes and hot aisle / cold aisle containment strategies, and can be used in wall mount or floor-standing racks. The same 7U size is offered in matte black, dark gray and matte white if a different rack colour scheme is required.
