Hammond PBPS19012BK 7U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Black

The PBPS19012BK is a 7U solid steel rack blanking panel for 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is intended for IT and network teams, data center operators, telecom installers and AV integrators who need to close off unused rack space so conditioned air is directed through equipment instead of leaking around it. As part of the PBPS Series, the panel blocks airflow gaps to support proper front-to-rear cooling and helps prevent hot and cold air from mixing.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) with a smooth powder coat finish in RAL9005 Matte Black for a clean, professional appearance. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting environmental and durability requirements. The part is REACH and RoHS compliant, USMCA compliant and TAA-compliant, and is manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.

This size covers seven rack units: the panel height is 12.25 in (311 mm) nominal, with an overall drawn height of 12.22 in (310 mm) and a 19.00 in (483 mm) mounting width. Shipping weight is 4.8 lbs (2.18 kg). The panel uses eight mounting points with 0.250 x 0.375 in slots, so it can be secured across both rack rails at multiple positions for a flat, stable fit. Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage-nut hardware separately.
