Hammond PBPS19001LG2 1U Light Gray Steel Rack Blanking Panel

The PBPS19001LG2 is a 1U solid steel rack blanking panel finished in RAL7035 light gray, made to close off one rack unit of unused space in a standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack. It is intended for IT and network teams, AV and telecom integrators, and facilities staff who need to block open rack openings so conditioned air is not recirculated through empty spaces.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel (0.072 in) with a smooth powder coat finish for a clean, professional appearance in front-of-rack installations. The powder coat is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the panel is TAA-compliant, manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.

The panel measures 1.75 in (44 mm) of rack height with a 19.00 in (483 mm) overall mounting width and an 18.32 in (465 mm) panel face width, with 4X 0.12 in (3 mm) radius corners. Four 0.250 x 0.375 in mounting slots give 4 mounting points that line up with standard EIA rack rail hole patterns. Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nut hardware to suit your rails.

Because it is a solid panel with no vents or cutouts, PBPS19001LG2 supports front-to-rear cooling schemes and hot aisle / cold aisle containment by eliminating the airflow gap an empty 1U space creates. Shipping weight is 0.65 lbs (0.29 kg). The same 1U panel is offered in matte black, dark gray and matte white for matching other rack colors.
