Hammond PBPS19001BK 1U Solid Steel Rack Blanking Panel, Black

The PBPS19001BK is a 1U flat steel rack panel from the PBPS Series of solid blanking (filler) panels. It is designed to cover a single unused rack unit in a 19 in EIA-compliant rack or cabinet, blocking open space so conditioned supply air is forced through equipment rather than recirculating around it. It suits data centre, server room, telecom and AV installers who need a clean, permanent way to close off empty rack space.

Construction is mild steel in 14 gauge (0.072 in), formed as a solid flat panel with mounting flanges. The finish is a smooth powder coat in RAL9005 Matte Black, and the same panel is offered in dark gray, light gray and matte white versions elsewhere in the series so the panel can be matched to the surrounding rack environment. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

This 1U size measures 1.75 in (44 mm) of panel height, with a 19.00 in (483 mm) overall mounting width and an 18.32 in (465 mm) panel width. Mounting is via 4 slots of 0.250 x 0.375 in, giving four mounting points onto standard 19 in rack rails. Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nuts to suit your rails. Shipping weight is 0.63 lbs (0.29 kg).
