Hammond PBPA19017UNF 10U Unfinished Aluminum Rack Blanking Panel

The PBPA19017UNF is a 10U flat aluminum rack panel used to close off unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant racks and cabinets. It is intended for data center, telecom and network installers who need to block open rack openings so cooling air moves through equipment instead of recirculating around it. This version ships unfinished, making it a practical choice when the panel will be painted, anodized, silk-screened or machined in-house.

The panel is formed from 8-gauge (0.125 in) 5052-H32 aluminum, giving corrosion resistance and a much lighter part than an equivalent steel panel — total shipping weight is 3.92 lbs (1.78 kg). The drawing shows an overall width of 19.00 in (483 mm) and a panel height of 17.47 in (444 mm), matching the 10U / 17.50 in (445 mm) nominal panel height listed in the series ordering table. Corners are radiused 0.12 in (3 mm).

Mounting uses eight 0.250 x 0.375 in slots on 18.32 in (465 mm) centers, so the PBPA19017UNF drops onto standard 19 in rack rails and is secured at 8 mounting points for a flat, rattle-free fit across the large 10U opening. Mounting hardware is not included and should be ordered to suit your rail type.
