Hammond PBPA19010BK 6U Aluminum Rack Blanking Panel, Matte Black

PBPA19010BK is a 6U aluminum blanking panel for standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is designed for IT, telecom and AV teams who need to close off unused rack space so that hot and cold air are not allowed to mix and recirculate through empty openings. As part of the PBPA Series, it is a lightweight alternative to steel filler panels and simplifies handling during build-outs and moves.

The panel is formed from 0.125 in (8-gauge) 5052-H32 aluminum, which provides durability and corrosion resistance in rack environments while keeping the shipping weight to 2.46 lbs (1.12 kg). This version is finished in RAL9005 Matte Black; the same 6U size is also offered in ANSI61 dark gray, RAL7035 light gray, RAL9003 matte white and unfinished aluminum. The smooth finish gives a clean, consistent rack face.

Dimensionally, PBPA19010BK occupies 6 rack units with a panel height of 10.50 in (267 mm) and a 19.00 in (483 mm) overall width, with the drawing showing a 10.47 in (266 mm) overall panel height and 0.12 in (3 mm) corner radii. Mounting is through 8 slots measuring 0.250 x 0.375 in, giving 8 mounting points across the panel height for a secure fit on both rails. Mounting hardware is not included.
