Hammond PBPA19008UNF 5U Unfinished Aluminum Rack Blanking Panel

PBPA19008UNF is a 5U flat aluminum rack panel from the PBPA Series, used to cover unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant racks and cabinets. It suits IT and AV integrators, telecom technicians and OEM engineers who need a lightweight blanking panel that closes open rack openings, separates airflow paths and gives a tidy front-of-rack appearance.

The panel is formed from 8-gauge (0.125 in) 5052-H32 aluminum, which provides lightweight durability and corrosion resistance for rack environments while being easier to handle and install than comparable steel panels. This version is supplied unfinished, making it a practical starting point for custom painting, silkscreening or machining; the same size is also offered in matte black, dark gray, light gray and matte white powder coat finishes.

PBPA19008UNF measures 8.75 in (222 mm) of panel height for a 5U opening and 19.00 in (483 mm) wide across the mounting flanges, with an overall drawing height of 8.72 in (221 mm). Four 0.250 x 0.375 in mounting slots secure the panel at four mounting points on standard EIA rack rails; mounting hardware is not included. Corners are radiused 0.12 in (3 mm) and shipping weight is 1.98 lbs (0.90 kg).
