Hammond PBFS19017GY2 10U Flanged Steel Rack Blank Panel, Dark Gray

The PBFS19017GY2 is a 10U formed steel rack panel finished in ANSI61 dark gray, used to cover unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It suits IT and network teams, AV integrators, telecom technicians and facilities staff who need to close open rack openings so cooling air follows the intended path instead of recirculating between hot and cold zones.

Construction is 16-gauge (0.057 in) mild steel with flanged edges. The formed design adds rigidity while reducing weight compared with flat steel panels, and the smooth powder coat finish gives a clean, consistent appearance across the rack face. The powder coat is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, which supports government and public-sector procurement requirements.

This panel covers 10 rack units, with a panel height of 17.50 in (445 mm) and a 19.00 in (483 mm) mounting width. The drawing shows an overall formed body of 18.32 in (465 mm) wide by 17.47 in (444 mm) high with a 0.50 in (13 mm) formed depth and 0.12 in (3 mm) corner radii. Eight 0.250 x 0.375 in mounting slots secure the panel at eight mounting points for stable support across the taller panel height. Shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg).

Installation is straightforward: align the slots with the rack rail hole pattern and fasten at all eight points. Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nuts to match your rails. PBFS19017GY2 is also offered in matte black, light gray and matt white equivalents for colour matching within mixed rack environments.
