Hammond PBFS19014BK 8U Flanged Steel Rack Filler Panel, Matte Black

The PBFS19014BK is an 8U formed steel rack panel used to cover unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is intended for IT and network teams, AV and telecom integrators, and facilities staff who need to close open rack openings so cold supply air and hot exhaust air are not allowed to mix and recirculate through the equipment stack.

Construction is 16-gauge (0.057 in) mild steel, formed with flanged edges. The flange adds rigidity to a large 8U face while keeping the panel lighter than an equivalent flat steel plate, and it also gives the panel a clean, finished look once installed. The panel is finished in a smooth RAL9005 matte black powder coat; the same 8U panel is also offered in ANSI61 dark gray, RAL7035 light gray and RAL9003 matte white.

Panel height is 14.00 in (356 mm), matching 8 rack units, with an overall width of 19.00 in (483 mm) across the mounting flanges and a formed face section 18.32 in (465 mm) wide by 13.97 in (355 mm) high. Flange depth is 0.50 in (13 mm) and corners are radiused. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg).

Mounting uses 8 points with 0.250 x 0.375 in slots that accept standard rack hardware; mounting hardware is not included with PBFS19014BK.
