The PBFS19005GY2 is a 3U formed steel rack panel used to close off unused space in a standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack. It is intended for IT, telecom and AV installers, facilities teams and OEM integrators who need to block open rack space so hot and cold air are not allowed to mix and recirculate through the equipment zone.
Construction is 16-gauge mild steel (0.057 in) with formed, flanged edges. The flanges add rigidity while keeping the panel lighter than a flat steel plate of the same coverage. The finish is a smooth powder coat in ANSI61 dark gray, which is described as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant; the same panel height is also offered in matte black (RAL9005), light gray (RAL7035) and matt white (RAL9003) if you need to match an existing rack.
This part covers 3 rack units, a panel height of 5.25 in (133 mm), with an overall front height of 5.22 in (133 mm) and a width of 19.00 in (483 mm) across the mounting flanges; the panel face measures 18.32 in (465 mm) wide and the flange return depth is .50 in (13 mm).
