Hammond PBFS19005LG2 3U Formed Steel Rack Panel, RAL7035 Light Gray

The PBFS19005LG2 is a 3U formed steel rack panel finished in RAL7035 light gray, used to blank off unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It suits IT and network teams, AV integrators, telecom installers and facilities staff who need to close open rack openings so cooling air follows the intended path instead of recirculating between hot and cold zones.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel (0.057 in) with formed, flanged edges. The flanges add rigidity while keeping the panel lighter than a comparable flat steel plate, and the smooth powder coat finish gives a clean, uniform appearance across a rack elevation. The powder coat used on the PBFS Series is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the panel is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America.

This 3U size measures 5.25 in (133 mm) of rack height and 19.00 in (483 mm) wide, with an overall formed height of 5.22 in (133 mm) on the drawing, a 0.50 in (13 mm) flange depth and a 1.48 in (38 mm) mounting face dimension. Shipping weight is 2 lbs (0.91 kg).

Mounting uses 4 points with 0.250 x 0.375 in slots, which allow a small amount of alignment adjustment when fastening to threaded or tapped rack rails. Mounting hardware is not included with PBFS19005LG2, so cage nuts or rack screws should be ordered to match your rails. Matching black (PBFS19005BK), dark gray (PBFS19005GY2) and matt white (PBFS19005WH) versions of the same 3U panel are available, along with other heights from 1/2U to 10U within the PBFS Series.
