Hammond PBFS19005BK 3U Formed Steel Rack Filler Panel, Matte Black

The PBFS19005BK is a 3U formed steel rack panel used to close off unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It suits IT and AV integrators, telecom installers and facilities teams who need to block open rack openings so cooling air follows the intended path instead of recirculating between hot and cold zones.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel (0.057 in) with formed, flanged edges. The flanges add rigidity while keeping the panel lighter than a comparable flat steel plate, and the smooth powder coat finish in RAL9005 matte black gives a clean, uniform look across a rack elevation. The powder coat used on the PBFS Series is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

This panel measures 5.25 in (133 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide across the mounting flanges, with a 0.50 in (13 mm) formed depth. It is secured through four 0.250 x 0.375 in mounting slots, giving four mounting points per panel. Mounting hardware is not included, so order rack screws or cage nut hardware to match your rail type.

PBFS19005BK ships at 2 lbs (0.91 kg), is made in Canada, and is TAA compliant, USMCA compliant, RoHS compliant and REACH compliant — useful where government or public-sector procurement rules apply.
