Hammond PBFS19003WH 2U Flanged Steel Rack Blank Panel, Matt White

The PBFS19003WH is a 2U formed steel rack panel in matt white (RAL9003), designed to cover unused rack space in 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is intended for IT and network teams, AV and telecom integrators, and facilities staff who need to close open rack space to control airflow, tidy up equipment zones and give a rack a finished appearance.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel (0.057 in) with formed, flanged edges. The flanges add rigidity while keeping the panel lighter than a flat steel panel of the same coverage, and the smooth powder coat finish provides a clean, professional look. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and the panel is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, which supports government procurement requirements.

This 2U size measures 3.50 in (89 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide across the mounting flange, with a 0.50 in (13 mm) formed depth. Mounting is through four 0.250 x 0.375 in slots — four mounting points in total — that line up with standard 19 in EIA rack rail hole patterns. Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws separately. Shipping weight is 2 lbs (0.91 kg).

Installed in unused rack space, PBFS19003WH helps prevent hot and cold air mixing and recirculation, supporting cooling performance in data centers, server rooms, telecom and network installations, and high-density rack environments. It can be used in both wall mount and floor-standing racks. The same 2U panel is offered in matte black, dark gray and light gray if a different colour is needed to match existing equipment.
