Hammond NWC12U2436SNBK 12U Sealed Wall-Mount Cabinet, Type 12, Black

The NWC12U2436SNBK is a 12U sealed wall-mount cabinet from the NWC Series, built for network and industrial equipment that must be protected from dust, dirt and dripping liquids. It is the "N" version, which comes without climate control and without cutouts of any kind, so it ships as a solid enclosure with a solid door in RAL9005 Black. It suits industrial, edge computing and IDF deployments where equipment reliability depends on environmental isolation.

Construction is 14-gauge welded mild steel with gasketed doors and a double-hinged, 19-inch rack compatible design that gives dual access to equipment for installation and servicing. The cabinet is UL2416 Type 12 rated to 350 lb (158 kg) and independently tested to IEC 60529 IP56 for protection against dust ingress and powerful water jets. It is also seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10.

Overall dimensions are 31.77 in (807 mm) high x 24.50 in (622 mm) wide x 36.22 in (920 mm) deep, with 22.00 in (559 mm) of usable mounting height and 30.00 in (762 mm) of usable mounting depth. Rail-to-rail depth is 26.55 in (674 mm) and the 19-inch mounting width measures 18.35 in (466 mm). Two pairs of adjustable, EIA-compliant 10-32 tapped mounting rails are included, along with a starter hardware pack containing SCREW1032-50 screws.

External mounting feet and a rear pan design support secure wall installation and cable entry, and dedicated bonding and grounding points allow proper bonding of all cabinet components. NWC12U2436SNBK is manufactured in Canada, TAA-compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and meets PCI DSS compliance requirements. Its powder coat finish is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant.
