Hammond NWC12U2436WABK 12U Window-Door Wall Cabinet With Air Conditioner

The NWC12U2436WABK is a 12U sealed wall-mount equipment cabinet with a window door, black RAL9005 powder coat finish, and a factory-supplied air conditioner. It is built for IT and industrial teams that need to place network, automation, or edge computing hardware directly in areas with dust, dirt, or water exposure rather than in a conditioned equipment room.

Construction is 14-gauge welded steel (mild steel) with gasketed doors that seal the enclosure against dust, dirt, and dripping liquids. The cabinet is UL2416 Type 12 rated with a 350 lb (158 kg) load rating, independently tested to IEC 60529 IP56 for dust ingress and powerful water jets, and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16, and ASCE 7-10. The double-hinged design gives dual access to equipment for installation and servicing, and dedicated bonding and grounding points support proper electrical installation of all cabinet components.

Overall dimensions are 31.77 in H x 24.50 in W x 36.22 in D (807 x 622 x 920 mm), with 22.00 in (559 mm) of usable mounting height and 30.00 in (762 mm) of usable equipment depth; rail-to-rail depth is 26.55 in (674 mm). Two pairs of adjustable, EIA-compliant 10-32 tapped rails provide 19 in rack mounting and flexible equipment positioning, and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws is included.

As an "A" version, NWC12U2436WABK ships with a 900–1300 BTU DTS3021A115LG air conditioner with cord, packed inside the cabinet. External mounting feet and the rear pan design support secure wall installation and cable entry. The cabinet is TAA-compliant, made in Canada, RoHS and REACH compliant, and meets PCI DSS compliance requirements.
