The MHKD2SS is a 6" padlocking defeater handle for a 3-point latch less than 60", built in 316 stainless steel and rated NEMA 4X. Within the MHK Series Type 12/4, 4X Handle Kits, it is the stainless option for enclosure doors that require 3-point latching, a defeater and padlock security.
It features a removable handle stop for clockwise or counter-clockwise operation and a padlock "trigger" design for security requirements. Installing the handle maintains the NEMA rating of the enclosure.
For field installation, the handle can be used on Hammond 1418, 1422, UHD, HN4 and HWHK enclosures with a minimum enclosure height of 24" (600mm); it can optionally be installed at the factory by contacting Hammond.
