Hammond MHK2SS 6" Stainless Padlocking 3-Point Latch Handle, Under 60"

The MHK2SS is a 6" padlocking handle kit with a 3-point latch less than 60", built in 316 stainless steel and rated NEMA 4X. Part of the MHK Series Type 12/4, 4X Handle Kits, it suits stainless and corrosion-sensitive enclosure installations that need multi-point latching and padlock security.

The handle has a removable handle stop for clockwise or counter-clockwise operation and a padlock "trigger" design for security requirements. It maintains the NEMA rating of the enclosure it is installed on.

For field installation, the handle can be used on Hammond 1418, 1422, UHD, HN4 and HWHK enclosures with a minimum enclosure height of 24" (600mm); it can optionally be installed at the factory by contacting Hammond.

The part drawing shows a 45.16 overall dimension. The MHK2SS ships in a box at 3.45 lbs (1.56 kg). It is REACH compliant and RoHS compliant, with UPC 623980609843 and UNSPSC 39121321. In the same size the series also offers MHKD2SS with a defeater and MHKL2SS with a key lock (key lock versions include 2 keys), while MHK2 is the zinc NEMA 12, 4 version.
