The MHK3 is a 6" padlocking handle kit with a 3-point latch specified as greater than 60" ("GT 60" on the part page). It is made from durable zinc die-cast, rated NEMA 12, 4, and belongs to the MHK Series Type 12/4, 4X Handle Kits for secure latching on larger industrial enclosure doors.
The zinc cast handle is finished in textured powder coat black. It has a removable handle stop for clockwise or counter-clockwise operation, a padlock "trigger" design for security requirements, and it maintains the NEMA rating of the enclosure.
For field installation, the handle can be used on Hammond 1418, 1422, UHD, HN4 and HWHK enclosures with a minimum enclosure height of 24" (600mm); it can optionally be installed at the factory by contacting Hammond.
