The MHK1SS is a 6" padlocking handle kit with a 1-point latch in 316 stainless steel. From the MHK Series Type 12/4, 4X Handle Kits, it carries a NEMA 4X rating, making it the choice for enclosures where corrosion-resistant hardware is required alongside padlock security.
The handle features a removable handle stop for clockwise or counter-clockwise operation and a padlock "trigger" design for security requirements. It maintains the NEMA rating of the enclosure it is fitted to.
For field installation, the handle can be used on Hammond 1418, 1422, UHD, HN4 and HWHK enclosures with a minimum enclosure height of 24" (600mm); it can optionally be installed at the factory by contacting Hammond.
