Hammond MHK1 6" Padlocking 1-Point Latch Handle Kit, Zinc

The MHK1 is a 6" padlocking handle kit with a 1-point latch, made from durable zinc die-cast. It belongs to the MHK Series Type 12/4, 4X Handle Kits and carries a NEMA 12, 4 rating, giving panel builders and electrical contractors a secure, padlockable door handle for industrial enclosures.

The zinc cast handle has a textured powder coat black finish. A removable handle stop allows clockwise or counter-clockwise operation, and the padlock "trigger" design addresses security requirements. The handle kit maintains the NEMA rating of the enclosure it is fitted to.

For field installation, the handle can be used on Hammond 1418, 1422, UHD, HN4 and HWHK enclosures with a minimum enclosure height of 24" (600mm); it can optionally be installed at the factory by contacting Hammond.

The part drawing shows a 7.22 dimension for the MHK1. Shipping weight is 2 lbs (0.91 kg) and the kit is packaged in a box. It is REACH compliant and RoHS compliant, with UPC 623980609744 and UNSPSC 39121321. The same 1-point handle is also offered in 316 stainless steel as MHK1SS, with a defeater as MHKD1, and in a keyed version as MHKL1 (key lock versions include 2 keys).
